Farming and Animal Husbandry Volunteers

Come help the good farm people at OCEAN SONG FARM, in farming, animal husbandry and other associated activities. Training for farm related chores will take place on Sundays from 12PM – 3PM  to cultivate active crews and then formalize schedules that work for them. We had 15 people on Sunday past- we want you for a new recruit!!!!

 Benefits include:

Hanging out with likeminded people who love nature, animals and the production of local food!!!Farm fresh produce, eggs and meats and also WOOL FIBER, all as a thank you!!!

Activities and Opportunities can include:

Gardening, weeding, watering, picking veggies and flowers

 Taking care of goats

Cleaning chicken coops and nest

Health care of goats, trimming hooves

Taking care of baby animals

Getting supplies with us

Fiber work

Goat walk helpers

Moving fencing and helping with the grazing management

Moving the herd through shepherding

Carpentry, building shelters and enclosures

Good wholesome family activities (except when Jen invariably drops the f-word.)
